Stats Inspector

Starting this Winter 2005, we plan to release a new fantasy sports product called the Stats Inspector. This simple product takes a series of historical baseball stats reports in PSR format and combines them with the Rhino Viewer software to form an easy-to-use stats analysis tool. Reports will include historical batting and pitching stats from the past 5 seasons, 3-year stat averages, earned rotisserie dollar values from 2005, and preseason projections. The PSR report data can be searched, sorted, filtered, and printed using the Rhino Viewer software. And you can even append your own custom stat formulas or point ratings to the reports and create new spin-off reports if desired. Data can also be exported to Excel if you want to manipulate the data in a spreadsheet.

The idea behind the Stats Inspector is to provide a simple analysis tool to those folks who don't have the time or computer skills to use a more sophisticated software application like Rhino Baseball. And best of all, it will be priced under $20, making it cheaper than a dinner for two at Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday's, Red Lobster, or other popular chain restaurants. For those of you who prefer to review some quick & dirty stats data without the fuss of learning to use more advanced software, the Stats Inspector is for you.
