RVLITE1.ZIP - April 20, 2000

Instructions for installing Rhino Viewer Lite:
----------------------------------------------
1) Locate the folder on your hard drive where you stored the 
   RVLITE1.ZIP file that you downloaded from the Rhino web site. 

2) Unzip the RVLITE1.ZIP file using WinZip or PKUnzip, 
   and extract its contents to a folder on your hard drive.
   Make sure the folder name is 8 characters or less, because
   the install routine cannot properly locate files stored in
   folders that use long filenames.

   NOTE: If you don't own unzipping software, go to the WinZip web site
   (http://www.winzip.com) where you can download it for free.

3) Quit all other applications.

4) Click the START button on the Windows desktop, then select RUN.
   Type C:\xxxx\SETUP (where "xxxx" is the name of the folder 
   to which you extracted the contents of RVLITE1.ZIP).

5) Follow the on-screen prompts and use the suggested settings.
   a) When you get to the screen that asks you to choose a product 
      to install, select the "Rhino Viewer Lite" checkbox.
   b) When asked to insert a disk, type C:\xxxx
      (the same thing you typed in step-3 minus the \SETUP).

-> Once you've completed these 5 steps the installer routine 
   will install Rhino Viewer Lite to your PC.

Running Rhino Viewer Lite:
--------------------------
To run Rhino Viewer Lite, click the START button on the Windows taskbar,
select Programs -> Rhino Software -> Rhino Viewer Lite.

Creating a Desktop Shortcut Icon:

To create a shortcut icon for Rhino Viewer Lite on your desktop:
 
1) Right-click the Windows desktop, and select New -> Shortcut 
   from the popup menu.
2) Click the BROWSE button and locate the folder on your hard drive
   where you installed Viewer Lite (typically C:\RHINO\VIEWLITE). 
3) Select the VIEWLITE.EXE file and click the OPEN button.
4) Give the shortcut a meaningful name and click the FINISH button.
