Rhino Viewer 3.5
Thank you for purchasing Rhino Viewer 3.5.
IMPORTANT!
We suggest printing this web page for reference as it contains
important instructions on how to install your new software.
In order to download Rhino Viewer from our web site, you must do the
following:
- Click the Download button provided below. To make the
download file as small as possible, it has been compressed using WinZip.
- Enter the Username and Password that was provided to
you via your online order receipt (the final page that's displayed after
completing your order).
If you forgot to write down your
Username and Password, or didn't receive one, please contact
support@rhinosoftware.com
for assistance in downloading the file.
Note: If you're a fantasy team owner downloading the Viewer for use
with your fantasy league reports, then enter the Username and Password
provided to you by your league commissioner (the person who is using the Rhino
Baseball software to run your league).
- After you have successfully downloaded the file, refer to the Setup
Instructions provided on this page for details on how to install the
software on your computer.
Downloading times vary according to your type of connection (cable modem,
DSL, 56K modem, etc.). The estimated time to download this product is:
Standard 56K modem = 14 minutes. Cable modem = 45 seconds.

Download Troubleshooting:
If after clicking the Download button
and entering the correct Username and Password, you see only a blank page
instead of a popup window asking you where to download the rview35.exe
file, then follow these steps:
- From the blank page, click the back button
in your web browser to return here.
- Right-click the Download button and
select Save Target As from menu. Your file download should
begin.

Setup Instructions:
- Make sure no other software programs are running (close them if
necessary).
- Locate the folder on your hard drive where you stored the rview35.exe
file that you downloaded from the Rhino Software web site.
- Double-click the rview35.exe
file. Click the OK button
shown in the introductory popup message. Click the Unzip button on
the next popup window to extract the program files and begin the
installation process.
- Follow the on-screen prompts that occur during installation. You'll want
to choose these settings when asked: Operating System = 32-bit
Short Names, Install Type = Typical, Product to Install
= Rhino Viewer 3.5
-
When
choosing how to process duplicate files, it's recommended that you
select either the Prompt or Alternate Directory options. Prompt
will let you know when it finds a duplicate (old) file during the install
and let's you decide how to handle it. Alternate
Directory simply skips installing any duplicate files and copies them to
the C:\rhino\viewer\v35\install\ folder where you can look at them later. Unless
you specifically want to check each duplicate file, it’s faster to
use Alternate Directory option.
-
If you get a message that says "Not
Enough Disk Space" when you go to install the software, simply
ignore it and proceed anyway. The installer program will sometimes
generate this erroneous message because it miscalculates the size of your
PC's hard drive. This typically occurs if you have a fairly new PC with a
really large hard drive.
-
When
asked to insert a disk, type C:\Rhino\Unzip35V.
-
If
a duplicate file is found during installation and you're asked how to
handle it, choose Skip and the
duplicate file is copied to the C:\rhino\viewer\v35\install\ folder instead.
You can check the Take this Action on Subsequent Files box to
avoid being prompted every time additional duplicates are found.
-
Wait
for the installation to fully complete. When the installer program tells you
that it has finished, it's still a good idea to wait for about 5-7 seconds
before closing the program so that all files get copied correctly. You
may also see a window containing
several program icons when the install has finished. Now click the Finish
button.
-
Restart
your computer to update your system settings. Click Start button, select Shut
Down, and then select the Restart
Your Computer option.
Note: The PSR-to-HTML Converter, a
PSR report to web page conversion utility, is also installed when you install
the Rhino Viewer. It gets installed in its own folder on your PC's hard
drive (C:\rhino\convert\v20).
To start Rhino Viewer, click the Start button on the
taskbar, choose Programs, choose Rhino Software, and
then choose Rhino Viewer 3.5 to launch the program.
