List of Known Software Bugs
We
strive very hard to achieve the ultimate goal of bug-free software and are proud
of our track record of producing top quality software that's stable and
reliable. But we're human, and when a bug raises its ugly head, we do our best
to squash it quickly.
This page contains the list of unresolved software
bugs that we currently know about and are working hard to fix. Bugs that have
been fixed in a recent maintenance release of a software product are also listed
here. The bug lists are
grouped by product, and you can use the links provided below to quickly
jump to the product that you're most interested in. Oftentimes, the bug list for
a particular product is empty. This simply means that all of the known bugs
affecting this product have been fixed by our technical team.

-
Bug found in Player Stats Window -- When
you click the Clear toolbar button in the Player Stats window, the
window should remain in the current stats display mode (Major League or
Fantasy). Instead, clicking Clear is always resetting the window to Major
League mode. This bug also causes a problem that prevents the
Auto-Reporter from properly generating the fantasy batter stats and fantasy
pitcher stats reports.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u422.exe upgrade file released on
April 22, 2004.
-
Bug found in Auto-Reporter -- A runtime
error occurs in the Auto-Reporter if the user tries to auto-generate certain
reports (dollar values, impact ratings, or stock values) for which no data
exists because the user has never calculated any of that data yet.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u422.exe upgrade file released on
April 22, 2004.
-
Bug found in Home Window -- Display of the
Current League identifier shown on the Home Window does not
dynamically change when you use the Choose League function to switch between
fantasy leagues.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u408.exe upgrade file released on
April 8, 2004.
-
Bug found in Stats reports -- Certain
user-defined statistics (RBR, LWP,
RPR) that were included as part of the stat formula of another user-defined
statistic, show up twice on the player & team stat reports.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u408.exe upgrade file released on
April 8, 2004.
-
Bug found in Fantasy Player Stats reports
-- Column ordering problems were discovered with PSR reports that
showed Fantasy Player Stats. To fix this, Contract and Salary
columns need to be re-added to all of these reports like they existed in
version 5.5.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u408.exe upgrade file released on
April 8, 2004.
-
Bug found in Player Forecast Stats reports
-- Column ordering problems were discovered with PSR reports that
showed Player Forecast Stats. To fix this, Injury% and Years in
Majors columns need to be re-added to all of these reports like they
existed in version 5.5.
Fix Status = Fixed in rb6u408.exe upgrade file released on
April 8, 2004.
-
Bug found in Dollar Values -- The Dollar
Values calculation sometimes produced results where each player's dollar
value equals zero or Null (blanks appear). This occurs when certain computed
stat categories that aren't commonly used (such as Win/Loss Pct% or K/BB
ratio for example) are used by a fantasy league for scoring purposes. In
rare cases, the result of a division operation (eg: 3 K divided by 0 BB
would result in a K/BB ratio = Null) causes a player's dollar value in a
certain stat category to equal Null (unknown). This also causes his overall
value to be Null, which in turn affects all other players values in a
"snowball
effect".
Fix Status = Fixed in bb328u.exe upgrade file released on
March 28,
2003.

-
Bug found in Trade Analyzer -- When the
window opens, it checks to see if projected team stats are available for the
current fantasy league. If team projections are not found (and thus, trades
cannot be analyzed), an informational message is displayed. If the user
decides to click the Trade button anyway, a runtime error occurs.
Fix Status = Fixed in scout521.exe upgrade file released on
March 24,
2003.
-
Bug found in Stock Market Report -- In
certain uncommon cases, attempts to retrieve saved sets of stock market
values resulted in no data being returned.
Fix Status = Fixed in scout521.exe upgrade file released on
March 24,
2003.
-
Bug found in Stock Market Report -- The
Player Stats Comparison display doesn't show the correct forecasted stat
values for user-defined computed sums. A user ran into an example of
this by creating a special stat category called Extra_Bases (where
Extra_Bases = 2B + 3B). The stats comparison display showed each player's
full-season forecast stats for Extra_Bases, rather than showing the
prorated forecasts (which take into account how much of the season has
already been played). This error only affects computed sums, not computed
ratios (like ERA, WHIP, Batting Average, Slugging%, etc.) which are the
most common type of computed statistic.
Fix Status = Fixed in scout521.exe upgrade file released on
March 24,
2003.
